Millennial leadership development is coming into particular focus as more Baby Boomers begin to ease into retirement and Millennials take over increasingly responsibility in organizations. There have been a number of studies of Millennials and Millennial leaders. Many of these studies provide insights on how Millennials view their work, yet few examine how organizations are managing the millennials within their ranks and developing them into leaders.
Our 2016-2017 Millennial Leadership Development Survey is intended to fill this gap and cut through the noise of opinions and observations about Millennials to learn at a very practical level how senior leadership approaches developing the Millennial leaders in their organizations. There is very little abstraction. We asked a series of straightforward questions and the responses we received provide a picture of the current state of Millennial Leadership Development in the United States.
